Solution:
The preliminary concepts are drawn initially, and all of the paper is hand cut with a razor. The lattice of paper must be crafted in such a way as to reveal the lower colors or sheets of paper without compromising the structural integrity of the paper layers. You almost build in reverse, which definitely requires thinking and planning prior to cutting.

Timing:

Timing for the visualization and physical cutting of each piece is dependent on the thickness of the paper, the number of layers and the structural complexity that needs to be achieved.
