Problem:

Create a book designed to look like a large tome. Once opened, it would reveal a recess for a perfectly bound Request for Proposal (RFP) response.

 

Solution:

Each sheet of paper was ripped by hand to create a deckle edge. The leather cover was bound to heavy card stock with a vinyl sticker applied to give the appearance of gold leaf.
A ribbon functioned as a lift for the RFP.

 

Timing:

The project took 2 people 3 days to complete.
